The Comptoir Philatélique de Monaco was founded in 2000 by Julien Shama, a philatelist from an early age, who wanted to promote Monegasque philately through a dedicated shop in the pedestrian zone of La Condamine, allowing direct contact with customers, who had quickly become international thanks to the development of mail order and internet sales.
